I travel a lot, and this does the job, better than anticipated. This is great for the minimalist, and keeps it from getting everything wet, has slot for just about everything, so keeping items separated is perfect. I have this for a while now, and I am not looking for anything else.

Great Organization!

Scratches on bag
Upon receiving the bag there were already numerous, notable scratches on the product. It still works, but it looks like it has been used and attacked by a dog before shipped. Very disappointing

Compact and Organized
I got this bag for work trips lasting about 3-5 days. It’s been perfect for these short trips and definitely recommend it for anyone looking to keep all their toiletries organized and clean on trips. I spend a good amount of time in hotels which is why I got the bag in the first place. It allows me to keep things I put in my mouth off the counters that may not be completely disinfected.There are multiple pockets and zippers on and within the bag that force organization on me. I was able to quickly establish a place for each individual item I travel with and know exactly where to find it when needed.I did need to move to travel size for a few toiletries but that’s the price you pay when going compact. I’d say worth it in the end. No more trying to stuff my duffle bag full to the brim!Overall great bag! Excited to have it as a constant piece of my life on the road.

Not practical for frequent travelers

I purchased both the Plus and Slim bags, and while they both have an impressive appearance, they unfortunately fall short in terms of practicality, which is a key aspect. Although the bags are made of good quality materials, the compartments are too small. I have a $20 bag that surpasses these two in every aspect. Priced at $50 and $80 respectively, these bags lack efficient organization and practicality for real-world use. Therefore, I cannot recommend them for frequent travelers. Additionally, these bags are prone to staining and scratching easily. You can see this in the video I posted; the stains occurred simply from unpacking and placing the bags on a sink for testing. Once again, I do not recommend these bags.

I bought the Explorer MINI toiletry bag for my husband who is on call and traveling away from home most of the week.Ordering was a breeze and it showed up right on time. The quality’s ace – solid stitching, sturdy zips, and the material looks like it could survive a hurricane.Don’t let the ‘MINI’ fool ya, this thing’s got loads of room! It fits all of his stuff, There’s a ton of pockets and slots to keep everything neat and tidy. Plus, it’s got this cool hook so he can hang it up in the bathroom, no more counter mess.Best part? Small, but mighty
This thing is small. If you want to fit loads of 3oz bottles and LARGE devices, it won’t be a good match for you. Still, I was able to fit (1) an oral b io toothbrush, (2) a Listerine flosser, (3) floss heads for a week, (4) a Phillips one-blade razor, (5) a stick of non-round deodorant, (6) two gravel 3oz travel bottles, which are not included, (7) a full bar of soap, and (8) a full-size toothpaste which was half full. There was still room for some small things, and I didn’t use the front pocket for passports/etc. I also note that I fit the oral b io toothbrush base and head (detached), as well as the Listerine flosser stick, in the toothbrush pouch, so there’s plenty of room in there.At one point, I thought, what about face wash? What about lotion? What about sunscreen? I came to the conclusion that I didn’t NEED these things, and when I do pack them, I generally don’t use these. If you NEED these items, don’t get the slim version or at least plan to downsize on something else (e.g., a couple of 1oz bottles could replace a bar of soap, for example). If you don’t, this works great and actually discourages wasteful packing, which I quite like.

Nice size, but lacks organization
Firstly, I like this. Good compact size, and it seems well made. My only complaint is that I wish there was some internal organization.. like webbed pockets or something to keep things from being just a bag of unorganized items.

Gravel MINI- Minimalistic Well-Designed Compact Travel Bag for Men and Women – Will Last
Gravel Explorer MINI Waterproof Small Travel Toiletry Bag has exceeded my expectation as a compact travel toiletry bag (as a Dopp kit).This is probably a minimalist’s dream bag and the design and quality is top of the class.It has a beautiful zipper closure that works very well and the flap/lips that covers the zipper is really cool.The silicone loop that’s attached on the one end is handy if there’s no good counter space to set it down.The smooth surface with Gravel log side has a shallow room than the other side. So I could put electric tooth brush, brush head and toothpaste, a collection of travel size lotions, etc on the other side.The special polyurethane fabric is definitely waterproof and the smooth texture outside is really nice which reminds me of aged suede or non slippery silicone phone case that I could grip easily.I highly recommend this kit for minimalist person (especially after watching minimalists documentary) and a very picky designer/architect/engineer who might have ‘OCD’ spectrum personality. It will really satisfy the needs of the clean and well executed product for certain types of people.If I could add, I will get a bright red or orange colored silicone zipper pull that I would make one side compartment to the other easily identifiable.I thought this bag was priced a little high at first. However after using it for my recent trip, I thought the company must have hired a really skilled thoughtful designer to come up with this MINI version of the product and also working with a quality production company. I would say it is definitely a great investment to use for the rest of your lifetime and I’ll cherish mine for the frequent camping trips and out of town trips. Don’t look further. You have this kit, you will be done with not needing any other dopp kit especially if you travel light with a carry-on luggage only.

Perfect Toiletry Bag for Those Who Like to Travel LIGHTLY!
I wanted a small toiletry bag to use in my Gravel duffel or in my carryon and figured I would invest in the “Gravel Explorer MINI.”The double-sided bag itself is well made—very sturdy! The zippers are high quality and the bag itself is SMALLER than one of my shoes (yet it holds everything I need for at least a weeklong trip). I was able to fit a toothbrush, normal size floss, and 2.7 oz toothpaste in the thinner pocket. There is also a deeper pocket on the other side that was large enough to fit a package of makeup wipes, shampoo and conditioner bottles (from Gravel), tweezers, fingernail clippers, comb, chapstick, face cream, and eye cream. There was even room to spare for a travel-size deodorant (I didn’t have one on hand before taking pictures).I highly recommend the Gravel Explorer MINI for anyone looking to travel lightly!

Not worth the high price to me
I was shopping for a new toiletries bag and saw the video for this bag. The video was compelling but I wasn’t going to spend $75 for a toiletries bag so I found a cheaper (probably knock off) bag for half the price and ordered it instead. The “knock off”bag had almost as many zipper pockets but wasn’t as large as I expected and wasn’t long enough for me to pack my Sonicare toothbrush without removing the head, so I returned it and decided to splurge for the Gravel Plus bag. When the Gravel bag arrived, I was disappointed to find it was barely any larger and I still couldn’t pack the Sonicare without taking it apart. Unfortunately, I has already returned the cheaper bag and didn’t have time to order another before leaving on my trip. I’ve used this bag for two weeks now and although there isn’t anything wrong with it, (other than size), I don’t understand what other reviewers are raving about and I still don’t think its worth the price I paid. Since there are so many “reviewers” claiming it is “totally worth the price”, I thought I should let you know, it isn’t worth the high cost to everyone.

Fits in pilot carryon
I got this for my bf and he loves it. He is not a super organized guy, he used to throw all his toiletries in a ziploc bag because it was the only bag that would fit in the tiny front outside pocket on his luggageworks carry on. The Gravel Slim fit all of his toiletries, and still fit in the front pocket. It’s waterproof and dries fast after hanging it up in the shower, so his bag doesn’t get damp when he’s rushing in the morning. His toothbrush doesn’t get gross and nasty anymore either. Couldn’t be happier

Pockets for everything!
I bought this for my husband because he is constantly traveling but I need one for me too! It’s the perfect size, not too big but has enough space to hold everything. I tried it out and got my hair products, essential makeup, toothbrush, flossers, toothpaste and moisturizers in with room to spare. My husband will be able to get his razor in with no problem. Everything stays separate and clean, but is easily accessible. My favorite part is that nothing falls out when you hang it up. Please make it in more colors!

I was hesitant to order because of price but am glad I did! This is a quality bag. It feels like it’s going to last a lifetime. I got this for my husband for a gift and now want one for myself. I wasn’t sure it would fit a full size contact solution or his razor but they fit great with lots of extra room for other essentials. It’s a tidy and neat bag great for travel and home use.

Thoughtful design
It’s seems kinda funny to say but this is a really well designed toiletry bag. I never thought having a nice toiletry bag was such a game changer. If you fly this is perfect. If you stay in hotels this is perfect. The liquids bag is a nice touch. There is a pocket for everything I need and I just open it all the way and in a hotel things stay near and organized. The quality is also really nice. Pretty sure I won’t ever need another toiletry bag.

Fits all my stuff
Decided to get a travel bag that was a little bit nicer than my current bag. This bag works great and fits all of my stuff. All of my stuff is not travel sized. I use a full sized tooth brush, toothpaste, and deodorant all fit fine in this bag. I like that it feel like it can withstand water because my other bag that I had for 15 years definitely showed some signs of water damage.

I travel a lot and was looking for a durable bag that would organize all of my toiletries. This bag is well thought out. Meh – Small pockets, little room – crowdfunding is not always going to change your life
I travel much during the year and this bag was getting much attention and the images looked like it would meet my needs. the material is very nice. the spill proof pockets are great, but the compartments are ultimately small and few of them. hard to fit my needs in such a small space. i realize it is meant to be a companion to a larger bag, but it is terribly cramped.i currently use the eagle creek bag (https://smile.amazon.com/Eagle-Creek-Specter-Toiletry-Strobe/dp/B00EOF23CK/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1542295917&sr=8-4&keywords=eagle+creek+dopp+kit) and i will continue to stick with it. it is spill proof and open enough to fit what i need and it doesnt have all the compartments of this one, but it has more flexibility.i realize this bag has a big crowdfunding following, and it may be just what you need. it just wasn’t for me. i need larger pockets where i can organize as i wish and not simply fit one small thing without room for lotion, larger toothpaste deodorant, q-tips, manicure set, basic pain meds and a small electric razor at the very least. i will keep it as an extra bag if i need it.

This bag does not disappoint…
I wanted to really spend some time with the bag before I wrote my review. I’m a photographer, and often travel for work. Toiletry bags are one of those necessary evils that never seem to quite allow you to keep all your stuff together without getting deodorant on your toothbrush. Great news, problem solved. The organization in this bag makes it so easy to keep everything separate and where it should be. I do a lot of research on things that I buy, and I focus heavily on quality. This bag does not disappoint. It is extremely functional, and you can tell the people that designed it spent a lot of time tweaking and adjusting to get it just right. 20 years from now I’ll be traveling with my son, and he’s going to laugh because I’m still using the same toiletry bag.

Best for week long vacations that require little upkeep.
Got the bag a couple days before my trip to Hawaii. well pleased with the product. On previous trips i’ve had to put my toothbrush in it’s own separate bag to avoid contact with my fingernail clips, deodorant, floss, beard trimmer, etc. But having this thing has been pleasantly nice to use and easy to separate things. I do wish it was a bit bigger to store a couple more things and I know they have a Kickstarter going on, but I’d rather wait to get it via Amazon. I also like the square shaped pocket on the end that allws the room I need to put in extra items like eye-drops and chapstick.

Good organization, not great for my needs.
I ordered his toiletry bag because I do a lot of European travel and I do carry-on only. I needed a very small toiletry bag with good organization. After a lot of research, I decided to get this bag despite it’s high price tag. Ultimately, the bag didn’t work for me. For example, there’s a very clever pocket for a deodorant but it is also the only space that can hold a travel size bottle of contact solution. I needed to take both and it simple wouldn’t hold both. And there is actually more bag than actual storage space. I still think it was a very clever design and has great organization, but it just didn’t work for my needs. I might have been able to make it work, but at this price point, it really should have been perfect. I returned it.

Good for minimalistic needs, a bit pricey
Well designed, but it just falls short. It’s just a little too small for my needs. It advertises that you can fit a toothbrush and toothpaste in one of the pockets, but i can really only comfortably fit a standard toothbrush in there. An electric toothbrush will not fit in that slot. I did get a fair amount of things in there, but not everything i needed. If this was $15 cheaper, i would have kept it as an office toiletry bag or in a go bag, but for $50? Too expensive. I also wish they had not put the hanging strap in..i would have prefered to keep that pocket free for some floss. A ziplock bag fits in my backback with a slimmer profile. I will join the kickstarter though for the larger version.

It is small but can fit so much stuff
The bag arrived quickly and came right in time for a trip I had planned. I travel pretty minimally adn I like all the pockets. Pretty cool, I was able to fit deodorant, my toothbrush, toothpaste, electric razor, some liquids in travel sized containers, with space for some more things.I like the hang strap on the back and I think I want to use the back felt pocket for a simple + small first aid kit (band-aids, etc). Nice!

Yep, it’s worth it.
I only review things that I really really love and this is one of those things. I was skeptical when I saw the price but it holds true. Product quality is there. It houses everything you’ll ever need while on the go and then some. I love the rubberized feel to the mesh pouches. The included bag for the shower is a nice touch. I really like the secret interior pocket as well. It also hangs really nicely which frees up the counter space.

Can fit everything in here. I carry around my electric toothbrush, tongue scrapper, shaver, therabreath regular sized bottle on one side. Then I have my cologne, facial lotion, deodorant, toothpaste on other side. Everything fits snug but it’s all I need. Durable and water resistant.

Obsessed! Purchased this for my husband for our trip to Europe this month and bummed I didn’t snag an extra for myself! Quality absolutely exceeded all expectations. The bag itself is beautiful and sleek and has so many storage compartments. The quality is insane. The material is thick and the zippers and all of the compartments it has in it are great. I have never had a travel bag this nice! This is not a one time use bag. excited to use it for all of our travel. Struggled to find a small travel dopkit that wasn’t 12x9x6″ or larger and this was perfect for 3-4 travel size items plus nail clippers, comb, etc. Have been really happy with this so far after a few short trips. Only change would be to put the toothbrush holding compartment on the side instead of the bottom because the flipping over and over is kind of annoying but it slips right in my bag and is a nice material so will be keeping it as my main kit for the foreseeable future.
